Dr. Steve Borger and Rev. Bonnie Beam talk about the COMPASS Initiative. In 2016, the Church of the Nazarene received a grant from the Lilly Endowment's National Initiative to Address the Economic Challenges Facing Pastoral Leaders. With this grant the Church of the Nazarene created The COMPASS Initiative which is a 3-year initiative to address the top financial challenges facing Nazarene pastors in the U.S.
Dr. Borger is a former District Superintendent, and currently directs the COMPASS Initiative. Rev. Beam is Assistant Director of the COMPASS Initiative.
