A Theology of Pastoral Care for Pastors and the Churches They Serve
Can the Church and the Minister afford each other!? The financial landscape of the US Church is challenging. Pastors are increasingly finding it difficult to pay off school loans while serving in churches that cannot or do not pay an adequate salary. How can our congregations and larger Church respond to this gap? How do we better serve and care for our frontline pastors? What is the Scriptural foundation for that care?
Our Speakers: Dr. Jesse Middendorf (Executive Director of the NTS Center for Pastoral Leadership), Dr. Don Walter (Director, Pensions and Benefits, Church of the Nazarene), and Moderator, Dr. Bill Kirkemo, Pastor and Financial Resource Advisor are hosting this critical conversation.
