Wesleyan-Holiness Tradition

John 20:1-13 is the Scripture focus of Dr. Johnson’s second lecture in the Wordsworth series (Feb 2017 on the campus of Northwest Nazarene University). Dr. Johnson speaks about the holy presence of God being found in even the darkest places here on earth– like a tomb. He contends God’s presence is not bracketed off from hurt and pain but intimately involved with it. He views holiness as full engagement in the ‘tombs’ of our world.
