2021 Hugh. C. Benner Preachers Conference
The 2021 Hugh C. Benner Preachers Conference was held Sept. 28-29, 2021 on the campus of Nazarene Theological Seminary with the theme Beauty Will Save the World: Preaching That Restores.
Keynote addresses were provided by Pastor Brian Zahnd with sermons offered by a variety of gifted preachers. The conference was made possible through the generosity of sponsors and the following lectureships:
The Hugh C. Benner Lectureship on Parish Ministry
The purpose of the Benner Lectureship is to foster the highest level of parish ministry by introducing to the Nazarene Theological Seminary community leaders in the various dimension of parish ministry.
The Fronia M. Darden Lectureship on Parish Ministry
The Darden Lectureship was established to encourage appropriate integration of the theological foundations of ministry with competent practices of pastoral leadership in the parish.
The Watkins Lectureship on Church Music
The purpose of the Watkins Lectureship is to advocate for and support the development of musicians who will serve the worship life of the local church.
