She graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University (B.A.); Wheaton (M.A. Educational Ministries); Fuller Theological Seminary (M.A. and Ph.D. Intercultural Studies, and received the McGavran Award for Missiology). She has authored numerous articles in church publications and professional journals.
